(Calgary) Alexander begun the season on the practice roster before playing his first game and making his first start in Week 4 against BC in Kelowna. He has since played eight games with eight starts at halfback and has recorded 27 defensive tackles including one tackle for loss, four interceptions, three knockdowns and one fumble recovery. During his debut, Alexander had two tackles and returned one interception for nine yards. Two of his interceptions came in Week 5 against the Argonauts and his fourth came in Week 8 at Winnipeg.

College

Alexander played his final two seasons (2023-24) at Louisiana State, making 18 starts in 19 games. He made 77 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss for the Tigers and added 11 pass breakups, four interceptions and one sack. Before arriving at LSU, Alexander began his collegiate career with three seasons (2020-22) at Southeastern Louisiana. Across 28 starts in 31 appearances for the Lions, he recorded 97 tackles, 12 pass breakups, nine interceptions including two returned for touchdowns, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Alexander was first-team all-Southland Conference in 2021 and 2022.

Personal

Alexander played safety, quarterback and receiver at Loreauville (La.) High School. He was also the leadoff hitter for the Tigers’ baseball team, guiding his school to the Class 2A state title as a sophomore. He graduated from LSU in 2024 with a degree in sport administration.
