The Calgary Stampeders are excited to continue our pre-game tailgate tradition at the Gridiron Gardens once again in 2022, which will be the pre-game gathering place for Stamps fans prior to select home games this season.
Located on the practice field immediately south of McMahon Stadium, the Gridiron Gardens will debut on Saturday, June 25 prior to the Stamps VS Elks game.
Fans can gain FREE admission into the Gridiron Gardens and all ages are welcome. Please note, beer will be available for purchase at the Gridiron Gardens prior to the June 25 and August 13 game only. All ages still welcome.

Western Tailgate Party presented by Coors Light
Date: Saturday, June 25
Time: 3-5 p.m.
Join us for a pre-game Western Tailgate Party at the Gridiron Gardens featuring tons of fun activities, live music, beer gardens and midway themed snacks and treats.
Family Tailgate Party
Date: Saturday, July 30
Time: 3-5 p.m.
It’s Family Day at the Gridiron Gardens! Join us for a kid friendly pre-game party with tons of fun activities. The alcohol free party starts at 3pm with Calgary Stampeder sunglasses available for the first 2,000 fans in attendance. Along with a variety of interactive stations, the party will also include:
- Mayfair Diagnostics Combine Zone
- Cochrane Humane Society
- Giant Inflatables & games
- Allen the Alpaca & his farm friends
- YYC Princess characters
- Face Painting

Legacy Night Tailgate Party presented by Coors Light

Labour Day Tailgate Party
Date: Monday, September 5
Time: 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Join us for a pre-game family friendly Labour Day Tailgate Party at the Gridiron Gardens! There will be music, player autographs, inflatables, face painting, and in honour of the Canadian Armed Forces we will have military interactive stations, as well as, Calgary Police Service and Calgary Fire Fighters on site.
