Stampeders running back Peyton Logan always has time to chat with his younger fans and says it’s always important to make those connections.
“When I was growing up I always wanted to go to NFL games, meet the players and ask them questions,” he explained. “Once I became a professional I wanted to do the same thing that I wanted as a kid.
“Plus, I love working with kids. Back home when I wasn’t working out I was a substitute teacher working with kids from fifth grade all the way up to 12th grade so I just really like working with kids.”
Logan is pumped to get back in front of the fans on Friday night.
“I’m very excited,” he said with a smile. “I’m a fan person, so I’m going to try and get the crowd going.”
