The Calgary Stampeders and Cowboys are proud to announce a collaboration in partnership with Cowboys Music Festival that will showcase local musical artists at McMahon Stadium during the Canadian Football League season.

The winners from Cowboys’ competition ‘The Opener’ presented by Cowboys Music Festival will be given the chance to showcase their incredible talent at McMahon as part of the Stampeders’ game-day entertainment as well at Stamps House, the destination for post-game festivities located at the north end of McMahon Stadium.

To kick off the 2023 CFL season, two acts – the Rusty Halligans and Greg Albright – will be performing at Thursday’s season-opener as the Stampeders play host to the BC Lions.

“We’re very excited by this partnership with Cowboys and what it will mean to both football fans and music lovers,” said Stampeders vice-president of business operations Jay McNeil. “We’re very pleased to have this opportunity to support local artists while also providing great entertainment for our fans.”
