The Calgary Stampeders have signed American defensive back Natrell Jamerson.
It’s a return to the club for Jamerson as the University of Wisconsin product was with the Stamps at training camp in May.

Jamerson was drafted by the National Football League’s New Orleans Saints in 2018 and spent time with seven NFL teams, seeing playing time with the Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers. He played a total of 21 NFL games and amassed 13 tackles and one pass defended.
He played four seasons at Wisconsin, making 88 tackles including five tackles for loss, 14 pass breakups, two interceptions including one returned for a touchdown and 1.5 sacks. Jamerson added 38 kickoff returns for 784 yards and one touchdown for the Badgers. He was an all-Big Ten honourable mention in 2017 and the defensive MVP of the 2018 East-West Shrine Game.
In another transaction, national long snapper Zach Zynomirski has been released from the practice roster.
