The Calgary Stampeders have released American receiver Floyd Allen. The Ole Miss product was attending his first training camp with the Red and White.
The Stamps will hold a walkthrough practice at McMahon Stadium on Thursday before heading to Edmonton on Friday to face the Elks in Calgary’s second and final pre-season contest. Kickoff at Commonwealth Stadium is 7 p.m.
