Calgary Stampeders middle linebacker Darnell Sankey has been voted one of the Canadian Football League’s top performers for Week 15.
The first-year player from Sacramento State matched a season high with 12 tackles on Friday as he helped the Stamps lock up a playoff spot with a 33-23 road victory over the BC Lions. One of the tackles was for a loss and Sankey also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
