The Calgary Stampeders have released Canadian defensive back Dagogo Maxwell and American defensive back Jamari Gilbert.
Maxwell appeared in six games in 2019, his rookie season, and made six special-teams tackles. Gilbert, also a rookie, played five games and made two starts, accumulating eight defensive tackles, two special-teams tackles and two knockdowns and scoring one touchdown on a kickoff recovery.
