It finally happened – I got my first interception of the year.
It was great, because I’ve been waiting all season for my first big turnover.
The coaches called the play, and I rushed the quarterback, saw the ball in the air, ran to the ball and then the ball came into my hands – it fell right in my hands. I was glad I was in position to make a play on the ball, and I’m glad I got my first interception of the season.
Shout out to all other guys on our defence! All the linebackers, I appreciate them helping me out.
So far this year I’ve been doing pretty well. But I can be a lot better, I just have to keep improving every week. As a defence we didn’t do as good as we wanted last night, but we got a bye-week to fix our mistakes and we’ll be ready to go after that.
We’re 7-0 now, it’s really good, but we still have a lot to work on. We’re not satisfied right now, we’ve got bigger and better goals than just being 7-0. We want to make sure we finish out the year, and make sure we have a great time throughout the rest of the season.
Heading into the bye we just have to stay focused, it’s a long season. We have to keep to doing what we’ve been doing, and things are going to happen. If we keep doing that, it’s going to be a good season for us.
