Calgary finished tied with Edmonton for the best record in the CFL during the regular season at 14-4 but the Eskimos earned the bye into the Western Final by virtue of having won two of the three 2015 meetings with the Stamps.
BC finished third in the West with a 7-11 mark.
The Stamps swept the season series against the Lions, winning 35-23 at McMahon on Sept. 18 and 28-7 in the regular-season finale at BC Place.
This is the 12th post-season meeting between the Stamps and Lions with the Stamps holding an 8-3 advantage in the previous 11 meetings including a 5-0 mark in the semifinal round.
Calgary has won three straight playoff games against BC including the West final in both 2008 and 2012.
