The Calgary Stampeders (12-4) finish off their regular-season home schedule with a Halloween matinee against the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2-14).

Today’s game is the only visit by the Riders this season. The two teams met on Aug. 22 with the Stamps leaving Regina with a three-point victory.

A Stamps win would keep their hopes alive for finishing first in the West Division.

Scary good fun

In the spirit of Halloween, fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favourite costume to be eligible to win great prizes throughout the game. In addition, kids under 12 will receive Halloween treats at stadium gates including Old Dutch Chips, Nestle chocolates, Big Chief Beef Jerky and more.

Salvation Army Coat Drive

Fans can share the warmth by bringing new or gently used winter coats to the game for The Salvation Army’s annual coat drive, supported by Q107. Volunteers will be stationed at all stadium gates to accept men’s, women’s and kids’ jackets, as well as cash donations to help provide warmth and comfort for the less fortunate in our community.

Dodge Fan Zone

Saturday’s activity kicks off early at 10:30 a.m. in the Dodge Fan Zone, located in the east parking lot across from the Stamps Store and Ticket Office. Watch for a Halloween bouncy castle, two Halloween-themed living statues, a photo booth, food trucks, a live DJ, partner games and giveaways.

It’s also the last chance for fans to enter the King of the Field contest and a chance to win the 2015 Ram 1500 truck that will be given away at halftime.

Gate Giveaway

The first 10,000 fans through the gates will be given a pair of TELUS thundersticks.

Jerseys Off Our Backs, presented by Safeway

Saturday also marks the annual Jersey Off Our Backs event, presented by Safeway. Forty-four randomly selected fans will win either a red or white jersey worn by a Stamps player during a game this season. The lucky winners will be invited onto the field after the game to meet with a Stamps player and get their jersey signed.

Halftime 

It’s time to give away a 2015 Dodge Ram truck to a lucky winner through the #KingOfTheField contest. All season long people have been qualifying to compete for a chance to win.
