The Stampeders look to reach double digits in victories for an eighth straight season when they travel to Winnipeg on Friday to face the Blue Bombers for the third and final time in 2015.

Kickoff at Investors Group Field is 6:30 p.m. MDT.

It’s the second trip to Manitoba in less than a month for the Stamps, who defeated the Bombers 36-8 on Aug. 29. Calgary also beat Winnipeg 26-25 on July 18 at McMahon Stadium.

The Stamps have won six straight games in Winnipeg including all three contests since the Bombers’ new stadium opened in 2013. Calgary leads the league with a 9-3 record while Winnipeg sits fourth in the West Division with a 4-8 mark.

The Stamps defeated the BC Lions 35-23 on Friday at McMahon Stadium while the Blue Bombers dropped a 35-14 decision in Montreal on Sunday.

Calgary has scored a West Division-leading 322 points so far in 2015 including at least 34 points in four of their past six games. Winnipeg is last in the CFL with 223 points scored.

Friday’s contest features a head-to-head showdown between the CFL co-leaders in sacks as Calgary’s Charleston Hughes and Winnipeg’s Jamaal Westerman have each bagged nine quarterbacks so far this season.
