The Stampeders play host to the undefeated Toronto Argonauts to wrap up Week 3 of the 2015 Canadian Football League season. The special Monday night contest at McMahon Stadium kicks off at 7 p.m. on July 13.
The Stamps (1-1) look to get back on track after dropping a 29-11 decision in Montreal during Week 2. Calgary hasn’t lost back-to-back games since Weeks 2 and 3 of the 2012 season.
The Argos (2-0) remained unbeaten by rallying for a 42-40 double-overtime victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday.
Both teams own a share of top spot in their respective divisions as the Stamps are even with Winnipeg in the West while Toronto and Ottawa are both 2-0 in the East.
Argos quarterback Trevor Harris, filling in for injured veteran Ricky Ray, is off to a great start with 614 passing yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception in two games. The Argos are playing their third straight game on the road although their Week 1 contest in Fort McMurray against the Edmonton Eskimos was officially considered a home game for the Double Blue.
The Stamps swept the season series against the Boatmen in 2014, claiming a 34-15 victory in Toronto on July 12 and matching the biggest comeback in franchise history — overcoming a 26-point deficit — to beat the Argos 40-33 at McMahon on Sept. 13.
