The Calgary Stampeders will wrap up the 2014 regular season on Friday with a visit to BC Place and a meeting the BC Lions.

The Stampeders (14-3) have already clinched first place in the West Division and the right to host the Western Final on Nov. 23. The Red and White do have a chance to tie the franchise record of 15 wins in a season, which was accomplished in 1993, 1994 and 1995.

The Lions (9-8) have clinched a playoff spot but it’s still to be determined whether they will finish third in the West and play Edmonton in the Western Semi-Final or in fourth place, which would mean a crossover into the East Division playoffs.

Both teams are coming off losses in Week 19. Calgary dropped an 18-13 decision on home turf to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers while the Lions lost 37-3 at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium.

Calgary is 7-1 on the road this season while the Lions are 4-4 at BC Place.

The teams have met twice this season, with both games having taken place at McMahon Stadium. The Lions were 25-24 winners on Aug. 1 while the Stamps posted a 14-7 victory on Sept. 27.
