Wild West Showdown

The first 7,000 fans through the gates wearing red will be given a noisemaker, courtesy of First Calgary Financial.

Fans are encouraged to show their western pride at the stadium. Throughout the game, prizes – including jerseys – will be given out to fans who are wearing cowboy hats and to fans who use the hashtag #wildwestshowdown on Twitter or Facebook.

Stamps Store Special

The Stamps Store special for the Wild West Showdown is a helmet sign for $10 (reg $23). Don’t leave the game without one!

4-H Night

The Calgary Stampeders and 4-H Alberta are holding the 1st annual 4-H Night at McMahon Stadium.

Timbits Football

The Okotoks Eagles and Calgary SW Bulldogs will face each other on the field in some pre-game action.

King of the Field

All season long, Stamps fans have been qualifying to win a Ram 1500 truck through the “King of the Field” giveaway. Three more lucky fans will be randomly selected at Saturday’s game to reach 20 total contestants.

At halftime, all 20 participants will compete in a game of chance on the field and someone will drive away in a new Ram 1500 truck.

ACWS

The Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters is the Stampeders’ official community partner for the game.

The year the Calgary Stampeders partnered with ACWS in a program to stop domestic violence and abuse against women — Leading Change: The Alberta CFL Project.

As part of the program, players and coaches including the Stampeders’ Keon Raymond, Randy Chevrier and Anthony Parker went through three days of intensive training in gender-based violence prevention and will make school visits throughout the month of October.
