Jorden added to practice roster

The Calgary Stampeders have added international receiver Kamar Jorden to the practice roster.

The six-foot-three, 205-lb. native of Darby, Penn., originally signed with the Stampeders on Oct. 2, 2013, and spent four weeks on the practice roster. Jorden signed with the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings on Jan. 3, 2014, and he was released on Aug. 25, 2014. He attended rookie camp with the Vikings in 2012 and spent the 2013 Arena Football League season with the Spokane Shock.

Jorden played three full seasons at Bowling Green University (2009-2011) and was a two-time selection to the all-Mid-American Conference first team. He finished his career at Bowling Green with 16 career touchdown receptions, 174 catches and 2,198 yards. In 2010, Jorden led the MAC with 96 receptions and recorded 1,109 receiving yards and four touchdowns. The following season, he had 78 receptions for 1,089 yards and 12 touchdowns.
