Both teams are coming off defeats in Week 13 — the Stamps dropped a 31-15 decision in Montreal on Sunday while the Lions fell to the Toronto Argonauts 40-23 at BC Place on Friday.

Calgary is 10-2 and in first place in the West Division while BC is 7-5 and in fourth position.

The Stamps are looking to avenge a 25-24 loss to the Leos on Aug. 1. It’s the only Calgary setback at McMahon Stadium this season and the only home loss in nine regular-season games dating to Oct. 5, 2013.

The contest features the league’s two stingiest defences as Calgary has allowed a league-low 19.3 points per game while BC is right behind the Stamps at 19.7 points per contest.

Calgary also leads the CFL with an average of 28.9 points scored per game.

The game kicks off an important final third of the season for the Stamps as Calgary will face division opponents exclusively in the final six games, with two meetings apiece against BC, Saskatchewan and Winnipeg.
