The Calgary Stampeders are partnering with Co-op to offer specially branded Game Day Approved food and merchandise in Calgary and across Southern Alberta to benefit the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Stampeders are joining a Game Day Approved lineup that’s expanding to include four CFL franchises in 2014.

Fans are invited to come to the official product launch at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 during the annual Fanfest event at McMahon Stadium. At that time, the Game Day Approved products featuring Stamps running back and reigning CFL Most Outstanding Player Jon Cornish will be introduced as well as the full suite of Stampeders/Co-op Game Day Approved products.

Cornish will be on hand to sign Game Day Approved products and custom autograph cards.

Also in attendance will be Federated Co-operatives Limited executive vice-president Vic Huard, Calgary Co-op vice-president Jeff Ambrose, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation president and CEO Saifa Koonar and Stampeders president Gordon Norrie.

Part of the proceeds from sales of the Game Day Approved items will go to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.
