Brian Marshall was selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the seventh round of the 2014 CFL draft.
A slotback at Western, Marshall played 26 games over four seasons with the Mustangs. He hauled in 99 catches for 1,950 yards and 18 touchdowns.
Last season, Brian caught 34 passes for 753 yards. His nine majors in 2013 ranked first among all Ontario University Athletics players.
The six-foot, 200-pound native of London, Ont., is the son of former Hamilton Tiger-Cats and current Western head coach Greg Marshall.

Going to school at Western was… a great experience. School-wise, football-wise, all around a great experience. I really enjoyed my time there and wouldn’t change anything.
I will never… cheer for the Montreal Canadiens.
I have always wanted to… travel around a little bit and see some of the world.
I own a lot of… video games. My favourite one right now is Call of Duty.
The best advice my father gave me… was to always be humble and treat everyone around you the way you want to be treated.
Getting drafted by Calgary was… a great opportunity for me and I’m excited to head out West and get to work.
The last vacation I took… was to Halifax over Christmas break.
Championships… are the main goal and that’s always the thing on the back of your mind is winning a championship.
