We definitely wanted bounce back tonight and I think we came out with great energy. We felt we had something to prove because we didn’t like our game last week, so tonight we came out with a big performance.

The last game against Hamilton was a bit closer but that’s because they had a good scheme. It kind of exposed us in the defensive secondary. But we worked on things all week in practice and we wanted to make sure we didn’t make those mistakes again — we came out tonight and proved it.

It’s so important to get back in the win column and avoid a losing slide because if you come out and lose, you can keep losing and losing. If you come out and get right back on the horse you were on, then you are right back to square one. It shows you how much of a good team you really are.

I’ve never had a two pick game before. This was the first one and my first time ever getting the game ball. So, I think it was a good night.

Next week will be nothing different. I think everyone always comes out to play us, and we are always going to play our A-game because we want that first round bye. We are not going to go out and be complacent.

We’re going to go out every week and keep getting wins.
