Stamps kick off Homecoming weekend

It’s Homecoming this weekend with the Stampeders, University of Calgary Dinos and Calgary Junior Football League’s Colts all in action at McMahon Stadium.

The Stampeders kick off the weekend on Friday night when the Hamilton Tiger-Cats come to town.

Calgary (8-2) is coming off a 22-12 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos in the Labour Day rematch and is in the midst of a three-game winning streak — the longest currently active streak in the CFL.

After getting off to a slow start, Hamilton (5-5) has won four of their last five games including a 37-29 win over the BC Lions last weekend.

In the spirit of “Homecoming” we will feature Bishop Grandin High School’s renown band — the Marching Ghosts — at halftime and a co-ed cheer team will perform special routines.

Tickets

Fans can purchase tickets for Friday’s contest by clicking here or by calling the Ticket Office at 403-289-0258 or 1-800-667-3267.

Nissan Fan Zone

The game-day activity starts two hours before kickoff (5 p.m.) in the Nissan Fan Zone, which is located across from the Ticket Office on the East side of McMahon Stadium. Select Stamps players will be on hand to meet fans, pose for photos and sign autographs. The pre-game experience features food trucks, interactive games and a live DJ.
