In all, this was a good game. We came out with lots of emotion and sustained our play through the highs and lows.

Last time we played them, when things weren’t going our way, we didn’t answer the bell. But today, we did answer. That was the big difference.

It’s always unique when you play the Riders. First place was on the line tonight and that’s important. When the Riders come to town. you want to shut their fans up, so there is a little extra incentive.

Really though, we have to come out every game with that same emotion to continue our success

Tonight was fun. I was drawing into the defence whenever they went to their heavy personnel. It felt good — I had a nice tackle for a loss and was showing up on the edges to make plays. So I felt good on defence, even getting in on a sack — which is always fun to hug the quarterback a bit.

On special teams we did a great job with our ball placement thanks to Rene (Paredes) and (Rob) Maver. Our guys were flying down to their end making Jock Sanders stop his feet and I ended up getting three special-teams tackles tonight.
