The Stampeders are proud to team up with Canadian Blood Services and heartily encourage Red and White fans to join our Partners for Life team. Saturday marks the start of the campaign to save lives and our goal is to contribute 100 units of blood in 2013. By joining the Calgary Stampeders Blood Donor Team — you can sign up here — by Sept. 15, you’ll be eligible to win an ultimate Stampeders fan experience including a locker-room tour, a chance to meet Stampeders players one-on-one and pre-game sideline passes.* More importantly, you’ll be saving lives. It is harder for Canadian Blood Services to collect blood in the summer months and donors are needed in July and August. Visit www.blood.ca or call 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) today. Representatives of Canadian Blood Services will also be on site Saturday to provide more information about the organization’s life-saving work and help fans book an appointment to donate.
* No donation required to win
The popular Little Miss Outrider program, presented by Jayman, is back for another year as the aspiring cheerleaders will be performing during the special halftime show. In addition to the Little Miss Outrider participants, who are aged 5 to 15, the program this year will feature the debut of the Junior Outriders in the 16-18 age group. The Junior Outriders will be joining the regular Outriders team for an on-field performance during a first-quarter break on Saturday.
The game-day activity starts three hours before kickoff with the Nissan Fan Zone, which is located across from the Ticket Office on the East side of McMahon Stadium. Select Stamps players will be on hand to meet fans, pose for photos and sign autographs. A special feature of the Nissan Fan Zone on Saturday is is a family photo booth. We want to see your best cheer face — each family will receive a FREE photo. Plus families can participate in interactive inflatables, face painting, airbrush tattoos and much more. The Outriders will be on hand debuting and selling the hottest calendar in the CFL for $20. The calendars will also be available online via the Stamps Store starting Saturday.
