Carr added to practice roster

The Calgary Stampeders announce that import receiver Greg Carr has been added to the club’s practice roster.

Entering his fourth year in the CFL, Carr first broke into the league with Winnipeg midway through the 2010 season and made an immediate impact, hauling in four passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns in his very first game on Sept. 24 against Montreal.

After two years with the Bombers, the Florida native signed as a free agent with Edmonton before being traded to Saskatchewan on Sept. 5, 2012.

Over his three CFL seasons, Carr has registered 111 catches for 1,593 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Florida State star was recently released by Saskatchewan after playing one game in 2013. He had one catch for five yards against the Eskimos.

The Stampeders also announce that import offensive lineman Na’Shan Goddard has been released from the practice roster.
