Eight members of the Stampeders made the cut as TSN announced the results of its top 50 CFL Players Poll on Friday night.
Running back Jon Cornish, the CFL’s reigning Most Outstanding Canadian award winner and the CFL’s 2012 rushing champion, tops the list of Calgary players at position No. 5.
Three other Stampeders players — defensive end Charleston Hughes (No. 14), slotback Nik Lewis (No. 15) and offensive lineman Dimitri Tsoumpas (No. 19) — also cracked the top 20.
