Bid for special PinkPower items

Here’s your chance to bid for some unique collector’s items while helping out a great cause!

As part of the Calgary Stampeders’ PinkPower initiative to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society and the fight against women’s cancers, we present special auctions for items used during Saturday’s PinkPower game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The great collectables include a pair of special CFL Pink game balls. One of the balls is signed by quarterback Kevin Glenn while the other is signed by long-snapper Randy Chevrier, who is the tireless player spokesman for the PinkPower program.

Also up for bids are special game-worn pink gloves from Saturday’s game. You can choose from gloves that were worn by Glenn, CFL rushing leader Jon Cornish, defensive star Keon Raymond (who had a 100-yard interception-return touchdown during the game), fullback Rob Cote, team sack leader Charleston Hughes or Corey Mace.

Special feature items are exclusive pink sideline hoodies worn by Stampeders personnel — including linebackers coach Don Yanowsky — during the game as well as a pink sideline jacket worn by head coach and general manager John Hufnagel.

So don’t delay, get your bids in now for these one-of-a-kind collectables as the auctions end on Nov. 9. And remember, proceeds will be going to the Canadian Cancer Society.
