The Stampeders will be shooting for a share of first place in the West Division on Saturday as they face the BC Lions. Kickoff at Vancouver’s BC Place is 8 p.m. MDT.
You can catch all the action on the 17-foot TV wall at Shark Club Deerfoot Meadows, home of the Stamps’ official Road Game Tweet-ups.
The Stamps (8-5) are coming off a 39-15 home-field victory over the Edmonton Eskimos and have put five of their six most recent outings into the win column.
The Lions (9-4) dropped a 27-21 decision to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina on Saturday but are still 7-2 in their last nine games.
Calgary and BC previously met at McMahon Stadium on July 28, with the Lions claiming a 34-8 victory.
A win on Saturday would pull the Stamps into a tie with BC with one more head-to-head meeting remaining — an Oct. 26 contest at McMahon.
A pair of Stampeders players achieved significant milestones last week. Quarterback Kevin Glenn reached the 3,000-yard plateau in passing for an eighth consecutive season while running back Jon Cornish became just the eighth Canadian in CFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
Cornish has 1,127 yards so far in 2012 and holds a 205-yard lead over Saskatchewan’s Kory Sheets for the league lead.
