The Calgary Stampeders have added veteran non-import offensive lineman Jonathan St-Pierre to the practice roster.
St-Pierre, a 29-year-old product of Longueuil, Que., is in his fourth CFL season. He was drafted in the second round (10th overall) by Saskatchewan in 2008 and spent the 2009 on the Roughriders’ practice roster. He was traded to Toronto in 2010 and played a total of 29 games for the Argonauts over three seasons.
St-Pierre played three seasons at Illinois State and made a total of 31 starts. In 2006, he was named to the Valley Football All-Newcomer Team as he helped the Redbirds offence rank eighth in the country with an average of 397.5 yards per game.
