High-school rankings return

The Calgary Stampeders are pleased to once again present the Calgary Senior High School football rankings for the 2012 season.

For the fourth consecutive autumn, the Stampeders is asking three local football experts to rank the field in an effort to promote local high school football. The rankings will be released each Wednesday.

The expert panel consists of long-time Calgarian and former Stampeders player Tony Spoletini and Stamps beat writers Al Cameron (Calgary Herald) and Ian Busby (Calgary Sun).

The Calgary Senior High School football season kicked off on Sept. 14. A change this season is the combination of Divisions Two and Three into a 14-team division known as Division 2/3. Here is a look at the rankings following the opening slate of games:
