The Stamps have won three games in a row and have put four of the past five contests in the “W” column to better record to 6-4 and move into sole possession of second place in the West Division. Calgary’s most recent victory was a 20-18 decision over the Eskimos on Friday at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium.

The Bombers, meanwhile, fell to 2-8 on Sunday thanks to a last-second 25-24 home-field loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

This is the first meeting of the season between the Stamps and Bombers. Calgary won both games in the season series in 2011 and the Stamps have reeled off five wins in a row over the Bombers. The Stamps have been unkind hosts to the Bombers in recent years as Winnipeg hasn’t won at McMahon since Oct. 18, 2002. Calgary has won nine in a row at home against Winnipeg.

In addition to facing the Bombers, the Stamps will honour six men who made important contributions to the club as part of the 2012 Wall of Fame ceremonies. Jeff Garcia, Kelvin Anderson, Rudy Linterman and the late Gerry Shaw will be enshrined in the players’ category while Sig Gutsche and Normie Kwong are being honoured as builders.
