The Labour Day Classic will be held on Monday but Calgary Stampeders fans are invited to celebrate the long weekend at McMahon Stadium a day early.

The Stampeders Labour Day Fan Day takes place on Sunday, Sept. 2, with fans getting the chance to meet their favourite players and coaches. 

“We’re excited about the annual Labour Day Classic and I know our fans are as well,” said Lyle Bauer, president and COO of the Stampeders. “We wanted to turn Labour Day into more of a weekend-long event and Fan Day on Sunday is a great way to do that. We invite our great fans to McMahon Stadium for a chance to talk to our players and coaches.”

Here are the details for Labour Day Fan Day:

When: Sunday, Sept. 2 from 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Where: McMahon Stadium (south east concourse)
What: Stampeders fans can meet and greet their favourite players and coaches (autographs, photos); Food available for for purcahse at special Fan Day prices
Who: Everyone is invited to attend the event at McMahon Stadium
