The Stampeders will look to build on the momentum of their Week 7 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as they play host to the Toronto Argonauts Saturday at McMahon Stadium. Kickoff is at 5 p.m.
Both the Stamps and Argos are 3-3 heading into this week’s clash. Calgary upended the Ticats 31-20 at Hamilton’s Ivor Wynne Stadium in its most recent outing while Toronto dropped an 18-9 home-field decision to the BC Lions in its latest game.
The clubs met in Toronto during Week 2 action with the Argos pulling out a 39-36 victory.
Stamps tailback Jon Cornish is coming off the best rushing performance of his career as he ran for 170 yards against Hamilton. He also had 47 receiving yards for 217 total yards.
It’s Kids Day at McMahon on Saturday and the Fun Zone will run from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the parking lot off the southeast corner of the stadium. Activities include interactive inflatables, face painting, airbrush tattoos, an appearance by Ralph the Dog and autograph signings with Stampeders players.
Saturday’s halftime show will feature the Little Miss Outrider performance as girls aged from 5 to 17 perform a routine with members of the Stampeder Outriders. Little Miss Outrider is presented by Jayman.
