The Calgary Stampeders have announced their team captains for the 2012 season as chosen by the players:
Offence – QB Drew Tate
Defence – LB Juwan Simpson
Special Teams – REC Larry Taylor and LB Marc Calixte
“The captains are voted on by the players so obviously they’ve garnered a lot of respect,” said Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel. “They’re good selections.”
