The Calgary Stampeders will kick off the 2012 pre-season on Friday, June 15 with a home date against their provincial rivals, the Edmonton Eskimos. Kickoff at McMahon Stadium is at 7 p.m.

This will be fans’ first chance this season to see returning stars such as Drew Tate, Jon Cornish, Nik Lewis, Keon Raymond and Brandon Smith, not to mention the Outriders, presented by Grey Eagle Casino, and Ralph the Dog. It’s also also the first opportunity to see the newcomers on the team including veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn and defensive lineman Ameet Pall, who was the Stamps’ first selection in the 2012 CFL Canadian Draft.
Come to the stadium early to enjoy the pre-game tailgating or to visit the Fun Zone, which is located opposite the ticket office on the southeast side of McMahon. The Fun Zone will go from 5-6 p.m. and players will be on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs.
