Another day in the books . . . As each day finishes, we get one day closer to the start of the season. I can’t wait!
From a physical standpoint, I’m feeling real good — no major issues, just the normal aches and pains from the hustle and bustle of training camp.
Camp so far has been pretty good. The grind is coming as expected, but we’re all getting into sync and making sure we’re ready to come out of the gates flying.
It’s great to see so many familiar faces in the huddle. We have as talented of an offence and receiving corps as anyone in the league. Now we’ve just got to get back to the Grey Cup and bring a championship home.
This camp has also brought in a lot of new talent. I can’t wait to see what some of the new guys do.
I love the journey of the whole season — can’t wait till training camp is over and we get on the field and start making plays in the regular season. Everything that comes with football — from camp, the guys and the competition, it all keeps me very motivated.
When I finally get some downtime from camp I make sure to check in on the L.A. Kings. I’ve been following them very closely.
The Kings are putting in work and hopefully they get it tomorrow. I’m an L.A. County guy, so I’ve always been a Kings fan more so than a Ducks fan.
I’ve really got a better impression of hockey when I came to Calgary and watched the Flames live. I cheer for the Flames now but, like I said, I’m an L.A. guy and I’m hoping the kings can get it done and get their first championship.
