Sunday, June 10 is the date for one of the tastiest events on the Stampeders’ schedule, the Training Camp BBQ.

For the second consecutive season, the BBQ will be held in conjunction with one of the milestone events of training camp — the Red and White scrimmage. The gates at McMahon Stadium will open at 3:30 p.m. and the game gets under way at 4 p.m. Admission and refreshments are free.

“We invite all of our great fans get their Game Faces on and to come to the stadium on Sunday,” said Stampeders president/COO Lyle Bauer. “Please enjoy a hot dog and a cold beverage on us and have a look at your Stampeders team as we take an important step in getting ready for the new season. Make Our House, Your House.”

Ralph the Dog and members of the Outriders cheer team will be in attendance to meet with fans. There’ll be giveaways including mini-footballs and autograph posters.

If you still haven’t purchased your tickets for the 2012 season, you’ll get another chance to secure your seat for all the action at McMahon this season. The Ticket Office will be open from 3-6 p.m. and, in addition, the Stamps’ Store will be open from 1-5 p.m.

You can also sign up for Kids Club or, if you’ve previously registered, you can pick up your membership package.

Entrance is through the gate at the southeast corner of the stadium and food will be served until approximately 5 p.m.

As a bonus, fans wearing one of the new Stamps jerseys will be entered into a draw for a chance to go onto the field after the game to get their jersey signed by a player.
