Single-game tix on sale Friday

The Calgary Stampeders invite their fans to start purchasing single-game tickets for all 2012 games on Friday, June 1.

All remaining tickets for Stamps home games – including the coveted July 19 game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Sept. 3 Labour Day Classic against the Edmonton Eskimos – will go on sale tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock.

Other highlights of the 2012 schedule include the Canada Day home-opener against the Montreal Alouettes on July 1, visits from the Grey Cup-champion BC Lions on July 28 and Oct. 26 and Henry Burris’ return to Calgary as a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Oct. 20.

“Football season is finally here and we’re thrilled to start our single-game ticket sales on Friday morning,” said Lyle Bauer, president/COO of the Stampeders. “Fans will have a great selection of seats for all games and we look forward to our tremendous fans packing McMahon Stadium all season long. I do want to remind fans that, although individual game tickets are available, purchasing season tickets still offers the best value with up to 30 per cent savings over game-day prices.”
