The votes are in and Nik Lewis’ catch-and-run touchdown against the BC Lions is the fans’ choice for the best play in Group A of the Stampeders’ Play of the Year Showdown. That highlight moves on to the semifinal round, which begins Jan. 31.

Now it’s time to pick the next semifinalist as we ask Stamps fans to review the candidates in Group B.
This week’s nominees include a dandy run by Jon Cornish, with some blocking help from Henry Burris, a game-saving pass knockdown by Johnnie Dixon, a spectacular missed-field goal return for touchdown by Larry Taylor and some nifty Johnny Forzani footwork, not to mentione some sure hands, for a big score.
