On behalf of the Calgary Stampeder Football Club including our owners, coaches, players, management and staff, I would like to wish all Calgary Stampeders fans the best of the holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
Like you, we were disappointed that we were not able to achieve the ultimate goal this season by winning the Grey Cup, but we remain confident that emerging young stars such as Jon Cornish, Drew Tate, Johnny Forzani and Demetrice Morley, just to name a few, will allow the Red and White to remain a strong championship contender in 2012. Head coach and general manager John Hufnagel has guided the Stampeders to a winning record and a playoff appearance every season since taking over the club in 2008 and thanks to his work — and your support — the team is in great shape for the short- and long-term future.
In addition to maintaining the quality of the on-field product, we remain committed to working diligently in our efforts to enhance the overall game experience when you visit us at McMahon Stadium. Our House is Your House and we strive to make you feel welcomed here. We are eternally grateful for your support and we look forward to celebrating our successes together in the New Year.
Go Stamps Go!
