Talley: Win felt really good

That was a long time to wait man. That win felt really good.

Not just that, I’m glad to be out of the cold now. Actually, it wasn’t that bad. It was pretty good on the field, especially when you started running around a bit. It was a great win. We just have to keep this momentum going.TalleyI_111021.jpg

I said when we played Toronto, that Toronto and Saskatchewan will be two of the most dangerous teams that we will face all season because they’re playing with nothing to lose. We had to just come out and get after these guys. We were able to do that tonight and we were able to get that win.

Drew? He did well. He was able to keep the ball moving and was able to keep the chains moving down the field. As long as we can keep that momentum going, we’re going to be rolling.

On my touchdown, I just saw him break a tackle and start scrambling, so I thought, “Let me find me a open spot.” Once he threw it, I went ahead and caught it and started celebrating.

We always said that when somebody goes down, we have to have somebody to step up. And that’s what the coaches and the fans, everybody is expecting out of us. If somebody goes down, we have to be ready to play. That’s the whole prep that they installed into us.

We’re going to keep on playing hard and keep on rolling.
