It’s also the PinkPower game presented by Paragon Pharmacy to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society and that organization’s battle against women’s cancers. Fans can buy limited-edition pink merchandise including two styles of toques and a ballcap for a minimum donation of $20 while Stamps players will be wearing pink gear such as gloves, skullcaps and chin straps.

As for the football game, the Stamps need a win to strengthen their hopes to climb out of third place in the West Division and earn a home playoff contest. Calgary (8-7) currently is one win back of both the BC Lions and the Edmonton Eskimos.

Meanwhile, the Riders (4-11) were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday following a home-field loss to the Lions.

Calgary and Saskatchewan have met on three previous occasions in 2011, with the Stamps winning each time. The season series started with a pair of games at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium, won by Calgary 22-18 and 45-35 on June 30 and Aug. 12, respectively.

Then, on Oct. 1, the Stamps claimed a 40-3 win at McMahon.

The Stamps are trying to sweep a four-game season series against the Riders for the first time since 2001, which until this season had been the last time Saskatchewan had missed out on the post-season.
