The Stampeders make their first visit to Vancouver’s refurbished BC place tonight as they face the Lions in a first-place showdown.
Kickoff is at 8 p.m. MDT.
The Stamps lead the West Division with an 8-5 mark but the Lions and Edmonton Eskimos are both just two points back of the frontrunners at 7-6. In addition to the first-place implications, the team prevailing in tonight’s encounter will have the season-series advantage.
Both clubs have a victory in head-to-head action this season as the Stamps won 34-32 July 8 at Empire Field — the Lions’ temporary home while work was completed at BC Place — while BC claimed a 32-19 victory at McMahon Stadium on Sept. 17.

Also, AM 770 has the call on radio with Mark Stephen and Greg Peterson. This is a big year for the Stampeders’ radio partners as QR77 celebrates its 20th season of bringing the Red and White to the listening audience. The game will also be telecast on TSN.
