Cornish rushed for 336 yards during the last five Stamps games, including the Oct. 1 game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

In that game, Cornish led the way with 149 yards on 13 carries and two touchdowns as the Stamps defeated the Riders 40-3.

Cornish also had 153 receiving yards in the five games. For the five-game period, he averaged 9.9 yards per carry and added eight receptions for 166 yards.

The player of the month honour comes one day after Cornish was named the Week 14 top Canadian and the offensive player of the week.
