I don’t think our struggles at home have become a psychological obstacle for us. It’s just been the way the ball has bounced this year. Unfortunately, we’ve lost the games at home. We don’t set out to lose these ones. We prepare the same each week.
It can’t really bother us. There’s a lot of football to be played.
The turnovers and penalties were major. We had the momentum and then the blocked punt was big. It was a lot of things. We had the chance to go up the field and we didn’t do it. There were a lot of mistakes and penalties across the board.
It was a lack of execution, missed tackles, everything. We didn’t play our best ball, either side of the ball. We have to get back on the field and get ready for Moncton.
Personally, I came through pretty well with the knee. The trainers have done a great job with me. I didn’t have any problems. After a loss like this, you just try to put it behind you and look forward to next week.
I don’t think it will be hard at all to prepare for the game in Moncton, especially after a loss like this. We felt like we should have won, we felt like we could have won, so I don’t think it will be hard at all.
