After a 2-2 start, the Stamps have won five of their past six contests and have taken over top spot in the West Division. The Lions, meanwhile, are 4-1 in their past five outings after an 0-5 start.
The Stamps and Leos met in Week 2 with Calgary claiming a 34-32 victory at Vancouver’s Empire Stadium.
However, BC has a two-game winning streak at McMahon on the go after the Lions won both meeting in Calgary during the 2010 season.
The Lions defence has been a key component of the resurgence as Wally Buono’s club has allowed no offensive touchdowns and just 23 combined points in the past three games. With Winniepg being scorched for 45 Roughriders in points in Sunday’s Banjo Bowl, BC now leads the CFL with 225 points allowed.
Meanwhile, the Stamps lead the West Division with 269 points scored and have chalked up at least 30 points four times in the past five contests.
