The big day has finally arrived. It’s time for the Labour Day Classic at McMahon Stamps_Esks.jpgStadium as the Calgary Stampeders face the Edmonton Eskimos in the annual intra-provincial grudge match.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. MDT.

It’s a battle for first place in the West Division as the Stamps currently hold a two-point lead over the second-place Eskimos.

The Stampeders are 4-0 since a 2-2 start while the Eskimos have dropped three straight since coming out of the gate with a 5-0 mark.

While the Stampeders have already held their food drive to assist the Calgary Food Bank earlier this season, we realize it’s a tradition for fans to bring non-perishable canned goods to McMahon Stadium for the Labour Day Classic, so we’ve set up a collection box at the Stampeders Ticket Office (located on the southeast corner of the stadium) for this purpose.
