For many years, the Labour Day Classic was the traditional time for the Stampeders’ Be a Fan, Bring a Can drive for the Calgary Food Bank.
This season, however, the food drive was held on July 23 and a record amount of food and cash donations was collected thanks to the generosity of Stampeders fans.

That said, we realize that it’s a tradition for fans to bring non-perishable canned goods to McMahon Stadium for the Labour Day Classic, so we’ve set up a collection box at the Stampeders Ticket Office (located on the southeast corner of the stadium) for this purpose. We will bring the donations to the Calgary Food Bank to help their quest to bring aid to the less fortunate in our city.
