It’s been three long weeks since the Stampeders played a home game but football finally returns to McMahon Stadium today as the Red and White entertain the Montreal Alouettes in a battle of clubs that have combined to win the past three Grey Cups.
Kickoff is at 2 p.m.

Both clubs are 5-2 and coming off Week 7 wins and a Week 8 bye. The Stamps, who lead the Edmonton Eskimos by percentage points in the West Division, went into the bye on a high note by beating the Saskatchewan Roughriders 45-35 in Regina.
Meanwhile, the Alouettes – who are second in the East Division behind the 7-1 Winnipeg Blue Bombers – dumped the Eskimos 27-4 before the bye.
Before the game, you can stop by Foothills Stadium for the Pre-Game Bash. At today’s Bash, which begins at 11 a.m., one lucky fan will win a jersey autographed by middle linebacker Juwan Simpson, who was the CFL West Division’s top defensive player in 2010. Your game ticket gives you free admission to this event.
The Stamps are happy to introduce these get-togethers as a regular feature for home games.
