I honestly wanted to say, I played this game with all of my heart for one of our very dear friends that died, for all of my friends, I played that for all of us. I felt him out there with me and it’s emotional and I’m just happy I was able to make some plays.
That point at the sky after my first touchdown was for Alex Conrad, absolutely. It was his funeral this morning at 10 and it obviously conflicted and so I couldn’t make it, but I played for him. I know he’s laughing right now. I know how he is, he’s smiling right now.
Technically I got the ball in the end-zone three times today, but two of them counted. It was great to get my first two touchdowns in this game.
I work real hard at this stuff and I deserve some good things to happen to me and I believe, because I work hard and sometimes things haven’t happened exactly how I’ve wanted over the past few years, I feel like I deserve to have a couple good things coming my way.
I’m nowhere near where I want to be and I’m never satisfied and you never do as good as you think you do and you never do as bad as you think you do, I’m just trying to stay on an even keel, as big of a cliche as it is, and just get ready for next week.
This game, this win, was a lot of fun today. We love this, this is what we play for.
