Burris heads into Saturday’s home game with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in ninth place on the CFL charts at 38,948 yards.
Clements, whose career was highlighted by successful stints with Ottawa and Hamilton, tossed for 39,041 yards.
One more rung up the ladder in seventh place is Tracy Ham at 40,534 yards.
